KOSP Project — Full Soundscape

KOSP Project is a comprehensive FMOD sound replacement for the ToLiss A319, A320, and A321 aircraft families in X-Plane 12. It replaces the default sound banks with over 900 audio files covering engine sounds, cockpit interactions, system sounds, and environmental audio.

Background

  • Developer: Nguyen Duc Binh (also sound designer for the FlightFactor 777v2)
  • Compatibility: X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12

Features

  • 4 engine variants: CFM56, IAE V2500, LEAP-1A, PW1000G — all in one package
  • Cockpit sounds: Switches, buttons, rotary knobs, doors — recorded on a real A320
  • System sounds: APU, PTU, hydraulics, landing gear, blower, cabin acoustics
  • Environmental: Environmental sounds, ambient noise, ground roll
  • 100% surround sound
  • C plugin with in-sim menu for mixer, equalizer, speaker/headset configuration

Supported Aircraft

The KOSP package includes sound banks for the ToLiss A319, A320, and A321 aircraft families (CEO and NEO variants), covering CFM56, IAE V2500, LEAP-1A, and PW1000G engine sets. The same archive is used for every variant — sound banks that do not apply to the installed aircraft are simply not loaded. A330 and A340 are not supported.

Installation

  1. Back up the original aircraft directory
  2. Extract the KOSP archive to the aircraft root directory (e.g., Aircraft/ToLissA321/)
  3. Replace existing files when prompted

The included C plugin provides an in-simulator menu for volume, mixer, and equalizer adjustments.
